Notes regarding our rates.
 

The prices quoted on this web site includes insurance cover to reduce your excess (deductible) to GBP200.00 or GBP350.00 for Ford Galaxy.
Our rates include all VAT (government tax), insurance reduction premium, 24 hour breakdown assistance and recovery, unlimited mileage, road tax, road fund, vehicle licence fees, vehicle registration fees, delivery and collection at Gatwick airport.

Theft cover and collision damage waiver subject to excess. All third party liabilities are covered. Damage to the rental car subject to excess. Interior damage or neglect to the vehicle is not covered by insurance cover and will be paid for in full by the person named in the hire agreement.

All our insurance cover is underwritten by Lloyds of London.
 

General Information

AGE LIMITS
All drivers must be over 25 years of age.
For drivers aged between 21 and 25 special terms apply.
For drivers over 75 contact us for clearance.

SPEEDING AND PARKING FINES

The driver of the vehicle is liable for any speeding and parking fines incurred during the hire period. The person named on the rental agreement is required to inform Gatwick Rental Cars upon return of the vehicle, of any fines or parking tickets issued whilst the vehicle was being used by the renter.

 

LONDON CONGESTION CHARGE

The driver of the vehicle is liable for any Congestion charges incurred during the period of hire. The driver is also liable for any fines or penalty charge notices received for failing to pay the congestion charge during the period of hire.

DRIVING LICENCE
All drivers must produce a valid licence and it must have been held for at least 1 year for drivers aged 25+ and 2 years for drivers aged between 21-25.

ENDORSEMENTS
Other than a statutory parking or speeding offence, it is only possible to rent vehicles to people with a clean licence, unless it is cleared with Gatwick Rental Cars beforehand.

IDENTIFICATION
Some proof of identification will be required at the time of hire other than a valid licence, clear with Gatwick Rental Cars when booking.

PAYMENT
A booking deposit (minimum £25.00) is required to reserve a car. (A larger deposit is required for continental use).
The balance of all charges to be paid in full on commencement of hire. Any extension of the original hire is charged at the commencing rate.

DEPOSITS
Minimum deposit of £200 per vehicle. This is not refundable if the vehicle is damaged. Deposits for continental use are larger. Details on request. Interior Damage or neglect is charged for in full.

AVAILABILITY
While every effort is made to supply the vehicle original requested, Gatwick Rental Cars reserve the right to supply a substitute vehicle if necessary.

RIGHTS
Gatwick Rental Cars Reserve the right to change vehicle rates without notice and to refuse rental without giving a reason.
